The Mercury, Hobart, Tasmania, Friday 28th February 1902, page 2.

“THE LATE Mr. R. G. Talbot. – The “Age” states that a stained glass window of unique design has been executed by Mr. W. Montgomery, Flinders-street, to the order of Mrs. R. G. Talbot, who died in Melbourne on 12th July, 1900. Christ is figured as standing aloft, with groups at his feet representing worshippers of different ages, the colouring being rich and harmonious. The window which is to be placed in St. Peter’s Church od England, Fingal, is a credit to Victorian art”.
