“A beautiful new stained-glass window was unveiled and dedicated at Holy Trinity Church, Hobart yesterday morning. The window is placed in the north aisle, and is inscribed, “To the glory of god, a thank-offering from W. S. and A. C. Willing.” The subject is the call of St. Matthew, very finely treated by the artist, Mr. A. R. Worrall, of Sydney. The richness of St. Matthew’s robe, the appeal in the Saviour’s face, and the wonderful sense of distance, showing the lake beyond, are noteworthy features. The colouring effects are all that could be desired. This window makes a valuable addition to the most wonderful collection of stained-glass windows in Tasmania”.
