“The beautifully stained glass window recently placed in Christ Church, St. Kilda, in memory of the late Mr. Frank Grey Smith was unveiled and dedicated yesterday morning by the rev. Stanley Low. It illustrates “The Light of the World,” after the celebrated picture by Holman Hunt, with adoring angels on either side, holding scrolls with texts, “The memory of the just is blessed,” and “The righteous shall be held in everlasting remembrance.” The whole of the figures being surrounded with rich ornament. The work was designed and carried out entirely by Messrs. Brooks, Robinson and Co., Elizabeth-street, under the supervision of their manager, Mr. W. Wheildon, an English artist. Under the window is a beautiful brass plate, bearing the inscription, “In memory of Francis Grey Smith.”
