The Argus, Melbourne, Vic, Friday 25th November 1892, page 5.

“A very handsome memorial window has been presented to St. Jude’s Church of England, Carlton, by Mr. John Pigdon, and will be placed in position by Sunday next. The window, which is the work of Messrs. Brooks, Robinson, and Co., of Elizabeth-street, represents the three Marys standing by the tomb of Christ on the morning of the resurrection. Behind the open tomb are the two angels – one pointing upward, in answer to the question expressed in the wondering faces of the three women. The canopy and base of the window represent fifteenth-century tabernacle work, and the whole has been very beautifully executed.”
